On Wednesday evening starcutie524, ruznuz, nihilityrue, and I all bundled up in my car and headed out toward texas to see coldlostalone graduate from the airforce basic training. We drove out to Tucson, where we stayed with wastedsunset and her many kitties for the night. We slept for a few hours, then went on our way again, driving through El Paso with the hopes of visiting the8thdwarfrage, but we couldn't get ahold of him, so we drove on through to San Antonio, where we arrived at our motel where allein21 was waiting for us. We got there a couple hours before he had to leave for the graduation. We met up with Al and David, Nathan's dad and brother, and headed onto base. Nathan was very surprised to see us, but I think he was happy we came. We spent that afternoon and evening hanging out until Nathan had to be back. The next morning Al and David left to go home. reclaimeddreams, and lord_de_moruis, along with their sister/sister-in-law, Beth, and their beautiful boy Kaleb, came down to meet us, and we all hung out and got lunch. Way too soon, it was time to drop off Nathan back at the base, and head on our way. We drove up towards Liberty Hill to meet up with Daniel and Tanyia again and to see Blackfyre. On the way we found a very cool Snake Farm that had all sorts of exotic snakes and other random animals. We stopped there for a while and took some pictures before we went the rest of the way up. We hung out with Tim for way longer than we planned to, and left fairly late. We drove on out towards home, and stopped for a few hours to visit my brother, Kent, and his wife and baby. Then we came on home. It was huge amounts of driving, but was still lots of fun! We got to meet quite a few wonderful people, and I'm pretty sure that we all had fun! I'll put the pictures up in a few different posts under lj-cuts so I don't slow down everyone's computers to load the pages... But that just about covers our trip.
